As multiple leaks in Wantan Canal, Wantan irrigation area resulted in water delivery losses, the 2022 canal and irrigation facilities maintenance engineering project under the jurisdiction of Liugong Management Office (open contract) undertook miscellaneous canal repairs along the main line of Wantan Canal 0k+880-1k+450 and the first supplementary water source for the main line at  0k+000-0k+187 of Wantan Canal.
