Irrigation construction and water resource conservation, management, and utilization are the basic foundation of agricultural production. Over the years, this office has been committed to improving and updating irrigation facilities and maintaining an effective canal irrigation and drainage system within its operational jurisdiction, while promoting agricultural produce with high economic value, planning and providing various services to contribute to the overall development of the agricultural economy. In the future, we will keep abreast of social trends and operate as a "Metropolitan Irrigation Agency" to enhance the property management of the office and revitalize asset utilization; expand dry farming irrigation, improve irrigation use efficiency, strengthen green beautification work, maintain high-quality ecological conservation conditions in the operational area, assist the development of local tourism agriculture, improve the quality of the tourism environment, and work closely with associated foundations – to research and develop agriculture technology, develop quality agriculture, reinforce marketing channels for agricultural produce, promote agricultural cultural and educational events, promote energy conservation and carbon reduction, and build green life by undertaking multi-faceted and diversified promotions of related operations, in order to establish a foundation for the sustainable operations of the office.
